Mismanagement of excessively long list of snippets

When there are more than a thousand number of snippets (small, taking only a <500kb in total byte size), it causes Chrome to take almost 30secs to load at start. Though it works perfectly once loaded. The Prokeys options page doesn't load either, since it tries to display all the snippets and crashes.

Please elaborate on why this happens. Aren't all files local? This is concerning. UI wise I guess, I could just put a loading gif in the list box.

Yeah, I'd have to research about this myself. Also, sorry, this issue was not relevant to you. It's not about the options page but the content scripts.

However, I was indeed wondering what if user had 6000 snippets, how will we display it in the options page properly?
