Full screen snippet editing

The current snippet editor is resizable vertically. But, adding full-screen resize would make it more useful.

My current design has this in a modal so that the user can focus on the new snippet alone though I am wondering if a situation may arise where referring to old snippets would be required, hence requiring a Gmail style compose box. The problem with a pure modal design and the current design is you can only do one thing at a time. Now is that a bad thing requires thought.

I don't know if users would edit more than one snippet at once, but if they do, and I think they would probably if they are above newbie-level users, they would likely like the gmail style compose which has several floating windows next to each other.

You may want to look at tampermonkey's (chrome extn) UI @JAIDEV123 . It has several tabbed windows for editing multiple userscripts at once.
