The homebrew hid to vpad has an option to create controllers profile, did you plan do it? I think this option can help you to let users create their own controller profiles extending the controller support until it is added oficcialy by you

That profile can setup to if this controller will be sync as pro controller, wiimote or gamepad, what do you think?
