Currently it only allows 5 slots without a licence, so something that might be a issue for the most users.

Yeah i have read that. My guess is that it is to limit the Beta or they chance the licensing for TS6 Selfhost

it offers now 32 slots for free with a 2 months license during beta and it will be free for 32 slots after beta!
