[Bug]: Insurgency Sandstorm server won't start

Open Hillbillyer opened this issue 9 months ago • 0 comments

User story

As an end user, I want the server to start so that I can play the game.

Game

Insurgency Sandstorm

Linux distro

Ubuntu 24.04

Command

command: start

Further information

I have tried some basic troubleshooting that I could think of like validating the server files. I tried erasing all the server files and then reinstalling and updating my unique config. I tried running it with all the defaults and it still wouldn't run. I have found some issues in the logs but I'm not smart enough to figure out what's going wrong. Thanks for your time and consideration, any help would be appreciated. Hopefully it's just an issue on my end

Relevant log output

/home/inss/serverfiles/Insurgency/Saved/Logs/Insurgency.log
[Insurgency.log](https://github.com/user-attachments/files/19408707/Insurgency.log)

Steps to reproduce

I run ./inssserver start && sleep 30 && ./inssserver details That then displays the server as offline. If I go into the game and try to join manually by IP locally, it no longer connects.
