Masking of lowercase characters before gene prediction

Hello,

This is not an issue but rather a question. I am using Augustus v2.7. After reading the manual I gave Augustus a repeat softmasked file, expecting the command to work. However, The following command throws an error.

Partial Command: augustus.2.7/bin/augustus --species=arabidopsis --strand=both --genemodel=complete --progress=true --softmasking=on --gff3=on --uniqueGeneId=true --sample=0 --chunksize 5000000 --overlap 10000

augustus.2.7/bin/augustus: ERROR Unknown parameter: "softmasking". Type "augustus" for help.

Does version 2.7 support the softmasking option? Or am I not using the same correctly.
