Comparing training parameters?

Dear colleagues,

Is there any tool that would allow to automatically compare training parameters created by AUGUSTUS etraining and gain some insights from such a comparison (i.e. judging if training for closely related species results in similar settings or not etc.)?

Hi Andreas, no, we currently do not explicitly have such a script. However, if you have the a benchmarking file with gene models in genbank format, it is quite easy to run AUGUSTUS in a loop with various parameter sets. If the input format is genbank format, you will at the bottom of each prediction file see reported accuracy statistics. Best, Katharina
