Volume differences ingame with unedited sounds

Open RadonSound opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

Hello,

I want to ask about an Issue i always encounder, when im finished building up a soundmod.

For example, when i play tanks engine and engine_interior in FMOD, they have the same volume there. But ingame however, the outside engine is almost muted and interior is super loud. This happens with nearly every track like cannons, mg, atgm etc..

I takes hours if not days to adjust the sounds in FMOD with gain modules so that ingame, they have a evenly volume.

I tried to build a clean project. means every track and event (pretty much everything including buses in mixer) are set to 0db, so they all have the same volume in FMOD. But ingame its a mess

Whats causing this?

@RadonSound hello! Didn't you forget about VCA that control some buses? And snapshots that control some VCA?

I mean, tank snapshot, field snapshot - they working for interior and exterior view correspondingly.
