Your Expectation
AE2 as a mod should work
The Reality
We recently had a series of incidents where AE2 stops working for ALL players on the server, symptoms are that items disappear from the terminal and import/export buses no longer work. Crafters are still visible and crafts in progress do seem to progress. This problem was seen before the update but now appeared for the first time in 2.6.0 as well.
The cause for this issue is unknown, but seems to be specifically affecting Delta, and probably some player-built setup within it.
Your Proposal
Locate and fix the issue
Final Checklist
- [X] I have searched this issue tracker and there is nothing similar already. Posting on a closed issue saying the bug still exists will prompt us to investigate and reopen it once we confirm your report.
- [ ] I can reproduce this problem consistently by follow the exact steps I described above, or this does not need reproducing, e.g. recipe loophole.
- [X] I have asked other people and they confirm they also have this problem by follow the exact steps I described above, or this does not need reproducing, e.g. recipe loophole.
We had this issue too. In addition to exactly the things mentioned here, we also noticed that stocking buses stopped working entirely as well. And I believe interface stocking also broke. The author of this ticket says that crafting still works but I don't believe that was the case for us. IIRC we could still see the crafting CPUs in the terminal but they weren't doing anything.
We also had twist space installed so we thought it might've been caused by that, but judging by this it sounds like it wasn't.
Restarting the server does not fix it, and the only way we were able to fix it was to restore a backup to a point before the bug happened. After it happened three times, we abandoned the run entirely.
the issue might be crafting cpu's finalOutput returning null
