How do i open the damn config menu

Open rexendevar opened this issue 9 months ago • 3 comments

Describe the bug

I don't know how to open the config menu.

Steps to reproduce

No response

Expected behavior

I would expect to be able to bring up the config menu by right clicking the indicator, clicking the gear icon in Extension Manager or finding GSConnect in my programs menu. None of these work - the indicator does the same thing whether you right click it or left click it, the gear icon in extension manager does nothing at all, and GSConnect is not in my programs menu.

Pressing the settings button in Extensions also does nothing. (Somehow a separate program to Extension Manager)

I'm not quite sure what you mean...hopefully the below screencast helps:

There is no gsconnect indicator. gsconnect shows an indicator for each device. There is a GSconnect entry in the gnome shell system status area (which can optionaly include the meu for the devices instead of showing an indicator for each). This entry has a "Mobile settings" button you can press to show gsconnect settings.

Also the gnome extensions entry for gsconnect "gear button" does start gsconnect settings here (gnome-extensions 46.1 and gsconnect 57).
