- What is your feedback?
FedRAMP and NIST standards for privacy designation differ. See FedRAMP Template line 546 and OSCAL Schema <system-characteristics>
<system-information>
<prop>
- What version of OSCAL are you using? (Check our info on supported OSCAL versions)
1.0.2
- What action would you like to see from the FedRAMP PMO?
Which value should be leveraged? <prop>
name="privacy-sensitive" or <prop>
name="privacy-designation"?
- Other information (e.g. detailed explanation, related issues, suggestions how to fix, links for us to have context, eg. slack, gitter, etc)
Core OSCAL defines privacy-designation
=yes/no
. IMHO, FedRAMP should use this value vs defining a different value for the same purpose.
See privacy-designation
in OSCAL.
FedRAMP will use NIST privacy designation. Associated templates will be modified to reflect this.
