User Story

As a Data.gov developer, I want to manage fewer forks so that I have much less code to own and maintain, can easily pull in fixes and improvements from upstream, and can focus on what matters to Data.gov.

FYI, we're working on upgrading inventory to CKAN 2.8 and are working on extensions. I wanted to bring the usmetadata extension to your attention.
