g_hash_bvh_vulkan is not defined anywhere in the code

Open Cry-Mory opened this issue 7 years ago • 7 comments

When the RadeonRays is built with RR_EMBED_KERNELS enabled, it has one compilation error as g_hash_bvh_vulkan code is not defined. Inside Radeon Pro Render - Bakilal, this option is enabled by default.

Vulkan version in this repo is not supported anymore. We are working on a new Vulkan implemenation, which is going to be released begining of May.

@yozhijk I haven't use Radeon Rays yet but will the new implementation have the same ray tracing pipeline as DirectX Ray tracing has? I mean this pipeline:

@yozhijk what about Metal2? I say because I see recently released radeonprorender for MacOS has Metal2 support.. and it uses Radeon rays SDK underneath, right? Here I only see an old Metal branch from 2 years ago and not updated..
