Fire & Smoke Not Show In Final Render On Radeon Prorender 3.4.6

Open hoodFX opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

Hi.. I may not know the correct settings, but these settings work fine on eevee.. I can't use cycles, because my amd gpu type is not supported in blender version 3. but when I try to use Radeon Prorender from version 3xx to 3.4.6, the smoke and fire simulation still doesn't work. when i set it to solid preview, fire and smoke can be seen, but when i set it to material preview and render preview, it only shows smoke. and when I render, smoke and fire don't show up at all. Is the setting wrong with what I've been doing? Please enlighten me.

Hi thanks for the report I confirm the issue, "Transparent Background" feature cuts off volume. Created a ticket for internal use.

thank you for your attention. Hopefully, if this issue can be resolved, the fire simulation will also appear, not just smoke.

Thanks to the developers, hopefully RPR can be a solution for AMD GPU users who are not yet supported by cycles x. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to dig up the grave - but this Bug is back again.

With transparency turned on, Prorender doesn't render Volumes.

Tried in: Blender 3.6.1 Blender 3.5

Prorender Version 3.6

Also Volumes in Viewport render appear as Pink Cubes
