Linux Support

Please provide a Linux version of the SteamVR driver as part of the Radeon Software for Linux package or as a separate package. Since SteamVR supports Linux and FFmpeg already supports AMD AMF encoding it should be possible. https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=FFmpeg-AMD-AMF-Vulkan

I second this - the ReLiveVR software works extremely well on Windows - better than Virtual Desktop for me on Quest. Now we can all dream - but having a Linux version would be a game changer. I work in Linux and this would offer so many new possibilities.

It works great on Windows, but the necessity to dual boot breaks my heart. It would be fantastic to have a Linux port, but I guess the major problem comes from the fact, that Oculus Runtime is not available there.

Yes please for Linux support. Although I'd prefer it to work with open-source drivers and not be part of AMD's closed source drivers.

I wish ALVR had a Linux release but no luck.

Oculus Runtime is not available there

Does this even need Oculus runtime, as with ALVR I don't think it does?

@jarrard - ReLive VR does not require Oculus runtime. We can't comment on future development plans here though, sorry.
