GNS3 not saving configurations with manage SNAPSHOTS

I'm having this issue, not with manage snapshots though.

I use a remote server VM setup.

I can stop/start a device in the project, it retains it's config fine. Closing the project (exiting GNS3) and re-entering the config is gone.

I've noticed other symptoms such as:

• Hostnames given in GNS3 aren't updated on the router automatically anymore.

I think many things and many issues can be involved in that. We will need to investigate them one by one.

During the testing following case appears:

1. Create a blank project
2. Do something
3. Make snapshot "snap1"
4. Do something
5. Save by "Save project as"
6. Revert to "snap1" (still appears on the list)/
7. No changes, state is from step 4.

Question is if we should support snapshots when creating new project based on different one.

Snapshots are not duplicated (checked version 2.2). We will need to consider this for a later version.
