ability to "pin" a track to the top of the pane

pin a track to the buttom of the pane

In the track menu, have a checkbox menu item called "Pin to top" that makes the track always rendered at the top of the currently active view pane, with the rest of the tracks scrolling below it.

but how to pin the genomic fasta to the buttom, just like the IGV?

JBrowse 1 doesn't have this feature, and development is concentrated on JBrowse 2 right now, so it's not likely we'll add it.

But a question: When we add pinning to JBrowse 2, do you think it should be at the top, the bottom, or both, and why?

For my situation, I think I need it both. It's just a matter of personal preferences, I would like to pin coverage at top and pin sequence at bottom.

I have another suggestion, I am not sure if I should open a new issue. We can enable the translate function in a sequence track, but it shows 3 ORF at the same time. in JBrowse 2, will it be a auto mode, when a transcript in gff3 track is select by left-click, it only shows the corresponding ORF?
