In Practices, "Hints" and "Checks" are not part of the translations
Issue description:
I downloaded course source code and started testing out my translations.
One very important problem is in Practice contents: There are no translations extracted for "Hints" and "Checks".
Can you please extract them and add them to Weblate?
PS: should the error messages related to these checks also be translated? maybe, they should be extracted too.
I see you're active around the project right now and I'm thankful for it. This is a known issue, see #561. However, we don't have the bandwidth to do anything on this project currently. Especially as we're working on a new, better app and course that'll replace this one.
Improvements to this project now depend largely on contributors.
I am yet to understand how these PO files are integrated into the app, let alone extract strings from it. When I do, I will surely be one of those contributors.
How long do you think the new app will take to fly? coming months? next year or much later?
It'll be done within the next few months. This time with web technologies. Right now I can't guarantee that v1 will ship with translation support, but a teammate will evaluate the work involved and we'll consider it.
