Return to Main Menu doesn't have menu box

Describe the Bug The Main Menu doesn't draw the box with the actual menu in it when you press the Return to Main Menu button when in a lesson.

Steps to reproduce the bug:

1. Open a lesson
2. Click on the Open The Course Index button
3. Click the new Return to Main Menu button that replaced the previous Open The Course Index
4. This takes you the splash screen for the menu, but the menu overlay doesn't appear like if you come to the site initially.

Expected behavior The menu box with Start, Select Lesson, and Options should appear.

Additional context Using the back button doesn't resolve the issue only refreshing the page.
