403: Insufficient Permission - insufficientPermissions

1. as I had multiple gmail accounts and I wanted to save one specific one directly I had to change the default browser to MS Edge where I was only logged in with that one users. Otherwise the setup bat would create the cloud project with wrong permissions?

2. Even after that I got this 403 error.

To solve I went into

https://console.cloud.google.com/auth/scopes

esp:

• View your email messages and settings
• View your email message metadata such as labels and headers, but not the email body

for that project and manually added the gmail scopes I thought where important for backup. then I did --action revoke and after that --action backup worked
