print printjobs

Using 'gam print printjobs' as described here results in an ERROR invalid choice

I do understand that I have my GAM directory in an odd place but I am certain this is not the root cause. I freshly installed another copy of gam and manually invoked it with literal path to test this.

As far as I can tell, the command I am trying to use has been removed but the documentation seems to inform otherwise.

Expected outcome (what are you trying to do?): I would like to list printjobs for the organization in tandem with other tracking tools to deduce who is printing what from which device.

Actual outcome (what errors or bad behavior do you see instead?):

Command: /opt/GAM/gam7/gam print >>>printjobs<<<

ERROR: Invalid choice (printjobs): Expected <addresses|admin|adminrole|alert|alertfeedback|alias|browser|browsertoken|building|businessprofileaccount|caalevel|channelcustomer|channelcustomerentitlement|channeloffer|channelproduct|channelsku|chatmember|chatspace|chromeapp|chromeappdevices|chromeaues|chromehistory|chromeneedsattn|chromepolicy|chromeprofile|chromeprofilecommand|chromeschema|chromesnvalidity|chromeversions|cigroup|cigroupmembers|classroominvitation|contact|course|courseannouncements|coursematerials|courseparticipants|courses|coursestudentgroup|coursestudentgroupmembers|coursesubmissions|coursetopics|coursework|cros|crosactivity|crostelemetry|datatransfer|device|deviceuser|domain|domainalias|domaincontact|drivefileacl|drivelabel|drivelabelpermission|feature|group|groupmembers|grouptree|guardian|inboundssoassignment|inboundssocredential|inboundssoprofile|license|mobile|org|orgs|orgunitshareddrive|ownership|peoplecontact|peopleprofile|policy|printer|printermodel|privileges|project|resoldsubscription|resource|resources|schema|shareddrive|shareddriveacls|shareddriveorganizers|site|siteacl|siteactivity|svcacct|token|transferapps|user|usercountsbyorgunit|userinvitation|users|vaultcount|vaultexport|vaulthold|vaultmatter|vaultquery>

That command has been deprecated by Google; here are the available commands: https://github.com/GAM-team/GAM/wiki/Chrome-Printers

Well, that sure it neat. Are all of the commands on the linked page deprecated or just the handful I was trying to use?

Yes, Google deprecated and turned down Cloudprint years ago so this was deprecated in GAM also.

If you are managing ChromeOS printers in admin console you probably want:

Understood. Is there some notation that I have missed in my ignorance that indicates that the page I was looking at has deprecated commands? If not, do you have a list of what commands in the wiki are deprecated?

The l- in the wiki article name indicates legacy / deprecated.

Easy to miss and we need to clean some of these up.

It seems you dont accept public PRs or I would do the write up myself. I am glad to assist with with helping clean up the deprecated command pages if you would like. I would be coming from my private account and not my corporate account though.

GitHub wiki is either wide open or allowlist.

We have a process where edits to wiki/ in the main repostitory get pushed to the wiki.

Create a PR for /wiki. Edits
