crashes when selected audio device becomes unavailable

Hello, The icon disappears when I disconnect my Bluetooth device which was selected as a main audio device. Is there any way to fix this? thanks

i experience the same issue, when the selected output disconnects the program closes itself (or crashes?) is this default behaviour

Crashes when the Bluetooth headphones are disconnect. If you change the default playback device in Volumey beforehand, then everything is fine. Please fix.

Would love to see a fix for this. I keep having to restart Volumey because of this.

Here, I use my TV as a monitor and default audio device. Every time I turn the TV off and leave the computer on, default device changes and when I come back and turn TV back on, it crashed and I have to terminate task and restart.
