Closing/Crashing after audio device is removed from system.

Open Hard-Wired opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

If an audio device is removed from the system (i.e. unplug headphones, unplug TV via HDMI with sound capabilities) the app often closes/crashes. This seems to happen more often when the current default output device is removed or plugged back in.

Crashes when the Bluetooth headphones are disconnect. If you change the default playback device in Volumey beforehand, then everything is fine. Please fix.

"The program Volumey.exe version 1.5.4.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel."

I have a report.wer file I can send along if helpful.
