Volumey Closes after putting PC to sleep

Open PedroHorace opened this issue 2 years ago • 7 comments

Whenever I put my PC to sleep or just let it idle into sleeo, when I wake it back up it has closed. I've looked at my power settings and nothing indicates that any app should close when putting my PC to sleep. If this is an issue with my PC then any help is welcome but I am still wondering if it's the app. Anyone else have this issue?

I'm having this problem as well. It started a few weeks ago and have no idea what triggered it. I've checked all my settings as well and everything seems in order. I really love this program and hope there is a fix for this.

Do you have any Volumey.exe.dmp crashdumps under the {systemdrive}:\Users{user}\AppData\Local\CrashDumps? If so, could you please upload it somewhere so I could check it? It shouldn't contain any private data. What are your Windows versions? Could you write "powercfg /a" in cmd.exe and paste the output here?

Also, please do the same steps I described here to collect additional logs from the Windows and paste logs here: https://github.com/G-Stas/Volumey/issues/58#issuecomment-1645744819

Same problems here. After system sleep or hibernation, the app still appears in the system tray, but is non-responsive and eventually closes/crashes. I went through my .dmp file as well and there seems to be nothing there, which is very strange.
