Drive for OS does not delete partitions

HI! I have a problem with trying to switch my chromium OS install to a different one, however the boot partition is not deleting the files, they reappear somehow.. It's almost like it's write-protected, even though I didn't set it to that on the SD card reader.. Can someone explain what going on with the boot files and why they reappear?
