Different colours for dot on menu bar and dot in full screen?

Would it be possible to provide different options for the colour of the dot depending on whether or not it is in the menu bar? In fullscreen mode the adaptive option works very well for me, but in the menu bar it turns the dot black while the rest of the icons are white, which makes it a bit more distracting to me. I would like to change this behaviour while keeping the dot black in fullscreen.

The Adaptive colour setting should do exactly that. Does it not work for you?

Seemingly not. I am on the Tahoe public beta, could that be affecting it? I honestly cannot remember if the dot was white before the update as I only installed YellowDot like the day before I upgraded

It takes a few seconds between the fullscreen switch and recoloring the dot because the app has to poll slowly for changes to avoid energy impact, but it does what it should. It's black in full screen, and the color of the menubar icons in windowed mode.

This is 26.0 Public Beta 25A5316i. I have ‘show menu bar background’ toggled on in the menu bar tab in system settings, but turning it off has no effect on YellowDot.
