Efficiency difference between 'Agentic' and 'Manual' querying

Hello,

I tried querying the same set of documents with Agentic (https://github.com/Future-House/paper-qa?tab=readme-ov-file#agentic-addingquerying-documents) and Manual (https://github.com/Future-House/paper-qa?tab=readme-ov-file#manual-no-agent-addingquerying-documents) methods.

In this issue (https://github.com/Future-House/paper-qa/issues/549) i asked about methods algorithmic behavioural, i understood 'manual' one should be more efficient but it seems 'agentic' performs better.

Which one is recommanded for a production usage ?

Yeah good question. Agentic is definitely the way to go because it generalizes better across many inputs and can adapt to bad search results
