The Nations/Alien Nations 2 - Black Screen, Purple Square Cursor

I have been testing a game called "The Nations" also known as "Alien Nations 2" by JoWood. Specifically, it is the original version of the game not the gold one. "Alien Nations 1" is already fully supported by cnc-draw, I tried it and it works flawlessly. "Alien Nations 2", however, does not seem to work. I tried it in both windowed and fullscreen mode. In both cases it has the same problem, the game starts, the audio plays, but all you see is a black screen with a purple square. Just like in the picture below. The purple square is the cursor and you can move it around. Also, the mouse capture works in windowed mode. I uploaded the cnc-draw log.
