Bug Report: GF character disappears for a frame on character select when switching characters

When switching between nene and gf, they disappear for a frame which makes it look like they're flickering. This still happens on the latest develop build

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to character select
2. Switch between nene and gf
3. Notice how they disappear and be upset (probably)
