Platform

None

Version

0.6.2

Description (include any images, videos, errors, or crash logs)

Sometimes when you boot up Funkin' after enabling "Launch In Fullscreen", the game's window doesnt center itself, causing whatever's going on in that image

I have no idea how to reliably reproduce this, it just happens at random/whenever it feels like it

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the game
  2. Pray
  3. Oh no

We'll need some help reproducing this one. Has anyone else encountered this?

Additionally, do you have any window manipulating programs on your computer such as Windows PowerToys FancyZones?

No, I dont have anything weird running in the background of my Laptop,

Btw im not sure if this will help with the issue, but this started happening sometime after i started dabbling with running Funkin' through the command prompt when i was fighting with v0.6 to get my mods fixed

also what the heck is a Windows PowerToys FancyZones

It's pretty useful for snapping your windows into certain custom positions quickly

Anyway that's pretty useful information, I wonder if anyone else can reproduce this using the command prompt

You dont have to explicitly run the game from the terminal everytime to reproduce the issue, the bug simply happened to me on a regular basis sometime after i once ran Funkin' from the terminal

Well that's strange! Can you ask around to see if anyone's gotten this bug yet?

UPDATE: I found out a way to reproduce it!

(0:00 - 0:30) - I start the game, but after clicking the executable I dont move my mouse around or do anything else, launches to fullscreen as intended (0:33 - 1:02) - I start the game, but after clicking the executable i constantly switch windows, once Funkin' manages to load to TitleState the "fullscreen" window is off-centered

In a natural scenario, if your waiting for Funkin' to load your 2763 mods (which can take quite a while 😭) and you switch to a different window in the meantime, once Funkin' manages to reach to TitleState it might end up with the window being off-centered

Seems to be platform-specific since I don't get this issue on macOS.

Just don’t spam the windows lol. This isn’t really that big of a bug, and I’m assuming it can be fixed easily by clicking the full screen keybind twice. Personally I have never encountered this either even though I switch windows sometimes when starting up the game.

For clarification, I did say you could get the bug by normal means if you switched windows just once while waiting for Funkin' to load

Same issue today, perhaps i don't try to open it in fullscreen, just to open it... https://files.prismodev.fr/s/QcTZpzcA5Djq9qp

Does this still happen on 0.7.4?
