usb support
is it possible to get usb support in the future?
i am asking since i think a usb connection might be faster, or at least easier to connect to. as my computer and phone are able to ping each other, but the app is unable to connect, keeps saying disconnected.
You could choose easier way - look for source with soft for USB version. Convert data in own way to send by USB to chosen device (like your version of ProRace gaugages).
If you mean to have "website" by USB, not WiFi / LAN then... well... there is no way to get that way because "getting internet" is only possible from phone (by packet data) to PC/Laptop/other device, but not opposite direction.
the way i was thinking to have the ETS2 android app be able to connect to the ETS2 Telemetry server using usb.
again the main reason being so far my phone is unable to connect to the Telemetry server at all, but computer and phone can see eachother just fine.
I got you. I have the same problem. But this is not a server issue. Its the client. Its really really slow. I've managed to make an Android app (WIP), That reads the data in Real time (almost). So it doesnt matter if your connection is through USB or WiFi, You will still have the same problem. At least in my case.
