[Suggestion] Make Particle Rain particles move much faster with wind simulation Fabric 1.21.1

Open Yoni664 opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

Explain your suggestion here. I recently installed Wilder Wild along with Particle Rain and noticed that Particle Rain particles move much slower than without Wilder Wild installed. I thought it was a bug that I had reported on the Particle Rain GitHub, but when I checked the changes in the recent Wilder Wild updates I noticed that support for the wind simulation of this mod was added. A good thing! But as far as I can see the particles move too slow for my taste :/

Describe alternatives you've considered Even changing the setting called “Particle Wind Intensity” to 500 does not reach the original Particle Rain speed.

Additional context I leave these videos for a better explanation of what Im trying to say:

Without Wilder Wild, this is the speed that Particle Rain particles reach: https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/6130410e-5d74-47cc-b6e2-af8aa63b30cf

With Wilder Wild: https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/53869136-f59e-4e83-8306-74f4a6c62bfe

With Wilder Wild and Particle Wind Intensity setting set to 500: https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/7cabc888-0cbf-4739-b793-8dcb070c16a7

The wind just happened to be slow at that moment.

I’d recommend watching the particles for about five minutes and seeing if their speed increases or slows down

Actually that’s kinda stupid now that I think of it It’s a literal sandstorm why wouldn’t it be moving

Bruh used my alt on accident In any case, I’ll get on sandstorm particles soon
