Multiple instances opening simultaneously

Below is an image of an issue I'm currently having where the app will not stop opening new instances of itself, usually around one every 20 seconds. This problem does not resolve itself after doing a clean install of the app. Anyone else ever experience this?

Same was happening with me. Turns out the installer was stuck on the last instruction, the powershell bypass (something like that).

Once it installed fully, no more multiple instances for me. Don't know what I changed to unstuck it.
