nixos-config Resolution

Hey. Where exactly can i specify my screen resolution? All apps look really small since i got a 2.8k laptop monitor

I think you can do that in the hyprlang config. At the bottom in extraConfig you can change the monitor rule:

 333   │     extraConfig = "
 334   │       monitor=,preferred,auto,auto
 335   │ 
 336   │       xwayland {
 337   │         force_zero_scaling = true
 338   │       }
 339   │     ";
 340   │   };

From the wiki it is said that the scale is the last value. You may need to change all the default values to suite your monitor.

Yea, i found that one prior. I thought there was another way through sway config. Will update after i get it working using extraCFG.

tbh I never used scaling so don't really know how it work, I just assumed the hyprland config would work...

You can easily change scaling in hyprland using the monitors option. Did you try it?
