I got an error while installing on Mac OS

npm install -g dexcalibur --force

I got the following error while installing on mac:

I solved this by install node v 12.x tls but I got the following error:

internal/modules/cjs/loader.js:818 throw err; ^

Error: Cannot find module '../build/Release/node_xz.node' Require stack:

• /usr/local/lib/node_modules/dexcalibur/src/FridaHelper.js

Did you rebuilt/reinstalled decalibur after Node downgrade ?

There is not common problem with MacOS. What is your MacOS version and architecture (M1?) ?

Edit 1: Such error can happen when there is not prebuilt binary for node package with native binding (node_xz here)

Hi, i think there is not prebuilt binary of frida-node for your nodejs version.

Please downgrade to node 14 or 12. You could be interested by 'nvm' to manage several version of node on the same computer. See : https://github.com/nvm-sh/nvm
