I have a very big import queue with several files from my Google takeout. The import job is running since last weekend and I expect the finish in a few days.

This is probably the cause, the imports from different users are certainly processed sequentially.

Maybe it would be better if different users of an instance could see that the import job is already running (for another user).

@avanc your file contains 6 points and all 6 was successfully imported when I tried it. Is your dawarich_sidekiq container running?

@escuco it might be the case, but just FYI in yesterday's release Records.json importing process was significantly sped up, so you may want to update and try again :)

@Freika My large import has finished last weekend. And from @avanc came the info, that his import queue is done, too. So this issue can be closed.

Nevertheless I've just pulled the last updates, thanks for your work!

Closing ticket as my import were just waiting in the queue. @Freika Interested that I write a feature request to inform users that the import is pending for some future release?

@avanc I'd say introducing statuses to imports would help resolve this misunderstanding, so yes
