Delete all points in an area for a certain time frame
I had a day a couple of weeks ago where the gps on my phone acted up and it thought I was home even though I was far away. It tracked a gps location for my home every couple of seconds and uploaded them to dawarich, where it registered thousands of kilometres for that certain day. I would like to delete all the registered points on the map close to my home for that single day, but I have not found a way to do it except for deleting every single point by hand - which could take forever as there are hundreds of them.
Is there a way to fix this issue?
You could use an SQL delete query. If your phone always has the exact same coordinates for your home saved then it's easy, but even if not it should still be possible. Create a backup and experiment. Or install Dawarich on your PC and import the backup there to test it even better
This sounds not really intuitive. A way to do it from the webui would be the easier solution, I doubt I am the only person that wanted to delete more than one point at some time
Selecting an area on the map and mass-deleting points is available since a few releases back. Use the tool in map v2 (introduced in 0.36.2, select map version in Settings -> Map settings). The tool in map v1 will select all points for all time, while the v2 tool will only select points within selected time range
