Inconsistencies in stats page

BEFORE OPENING AN ISSUE, MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS: https://github.com/Freika/dawarich/issues/1382

OS & Hardware Running on x86, Ubuntu Linux 25.04 and k3s 1.33.5+k3s1

Version 0.32.0

Describe the bug The stats page shows inconsistent numbers. Total distance is 2,718 km, but the sum from the years is 348 km + 178 km = 526 km.

When I open the stats for one specific year, I can see multiple entries for most of the months - e.g. October 2024 shows up with 151 km and 0 km. However, if I click on that month for the monthly digest, it will open up a page with 151 km for both entries.

March 2025 is available with 7 entries, 6 of them with 0 km total distance.

Update stats doesn't change the situation.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to the stats page to see the differences
  2. Click on a year to see the multiple monthly entries
  3. Clock on any month to always get the same entry.

Expected behavior Consistent distances, no multiple entries for any month.

Logs I don't see anything in the logs. But I am happy to provide anything, if I know how to trigger some useful logging.

Additional context All points were imported from GPX files (from Outdooractive to be specific).

Stats are being cached and recalculated every night, can you check if values are updated tomorrow?

I just checked it, but the situation remained unchanged.

I've made a screenshot of the stats page. The total stats seem realistic to me. Image

And here is one of the multiple entries problem for March 2025. Image

Is there a way to delete the monthly stats and recreate them?

Yes, in the console you can run Stat.destroy_all and then "Update stats" button on the Stats page

Thanks, that helped. The stats are consistent, and every month has one unique entry now. However, something is still odd with the cities. With 69 cities overall, 2014 has still 17 and 2025 18 cities.
