Gumble passive ability revamp [bounty: 100 XTR]

Gumble's current passive ability is rather silly atm, since he's a lvl one unit (usually meant as support, utility or glass cannon in some cases) and doesn't have a lot of hitpoints or tanky stats, so it should get revamped.

Current ability:

title: 'Gooey Body', desc: 'Receives bonus pierce, slash and crush masteries based on remaining health.', info: '3 bonus points each for every 7 health.', upgrade: 'Health threshold becomes 5.',

Revamped ability:

title: 'Gooey Body', desc: 'When killed, it melts into a puddle that traps any unit that walks on top of it.', info: 'Can't move current round while on goo.', upgrade: 'Does not affect allied units.',

Details: Affected units walking over get pinned into place, not able to move current round. Can use abilities just fine. Using movement related abilities can free the unit if landing to a new location outside of the goo, allowing to use remaining movement points. If a unit starts turn on top of the goo, it can move away, but stepping on the goo again will cause the unit to get pinned again; this can happen for medium and large units as well if trying to step through it, having rest of the body walk on the goo again. The goo remains on the combat location until overlapped by some other similar trap. Impaler's Poisonous Vine won't cause the goo to vanish, as it should be consider a debuff rather, might need patching.

Haha, I'm glad too. Actually, Pretty Ribbon was a great learning experience for me. I understood a lot of stuff for the code which seemed daunting in the beginning

I also have implemented the goo trap. and wanted to know whether the goo trap should be destroyed as soon as some other trap by x unit overlaps it or will they remain intact till the end of the game?

Yeah, but only if the drops setting is on.

Since it's not castable anymore, it can remain until destroyed by being overlapped by some other trap. For example, Infernal (previously named Magma Spawn) would eliminate the goo trap easily.

Aight gotcha. @DreadKnight One more query headin your way haha, so lets suppose scavenger gets stuck in the goo, so can he use passive ability to fly to a different location or it should be unusable for the round?

Scavenger doesn't hover, so if it stops/lands on trap, it gets stuck for the rest of the turn.

@DreadKnight, I had one question. I dont think so the passive ability can be upgraded since its triggered when gumble dies. Further, all other gumble abilities get upgraded when it have been used a certain number of time but same can't be said for the passive ability. Correct me if I am wrong?

Passives upgrade automatically after a certain number of rounds. Observe their behavior 🐻
