less distracting HUD when in the background [bounty: 8 XTR]

When in any full screen view (audio view etc), the game HUD should become very transparent in order to distract less.

Sorry, I had some school/exam work to attend to leading to the delay. I was wondering if the HUD referred to the sidebars and the top bar with buttons only or does it mean the entire game screen when a menu is clicked. I think one way of making the HUD less distracting would be to increase the background opacity of the menu. But if HUD only refers to the top and side bars, then the situation is different.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HUD_(video_gaming) - means the interface elements that show you info or allow you to interact with the game. They need to become very transparent when some fullscreen menu is opened or even fully hidden (need to test a PR).
