The multiplayer "Waiting for Players" text should get a black outline that will get animated to red and ping-pong the animation.

Assigned. Ping-pong is an animation type, it goes from 0 to 1 and then back to 0 and so on (rewinds and repeats).
I'm trying to create a multiplayer account but it isn't doing anything when I click "register".

Servers down for a few months now, online multiplayer won't make it the cut for 0.4 as there was a critical bug that didn't get fixed in over a year now; a lot of stuff went wrong, hopefully will eventually manage to get things going for v0.5. Need to place a notification about server status and/or disable the button, something along the lines. So fixing this a bit pointless atm; you can poke at v0.4 milestone stuff; pushed this one even further away.

Alright. Can be fixed before but would be a tad harder and kinda pointless since nobody would see it overall xD

Heya! Go for it, someone made a PR but didn't do the right stuff and haven't adjusted based on my feedback.

Heya! Poke at some other issue that's easy for you to figure out and not labeled "multiplayer" and will guide you a bit if you still need help after checking out the contribution guide.
