Any way to emulate an Xbox controller?

I changed the PID and UID, name and it looks like an Xbox controller in the device manager, but I get no joystick configuration or listing in my USB game devices. I'm not trying to cheat Microsoft or anything, I own a few Xbox controllers. I'm working on a force feedback motorcycle simulator for Ride 5 and the game itself only seems to support Xbox controllers. Any suggestions appreciated.
