Failure to play TV channels
I can add and load M3U lists but cannot play any TV channels. Every time I click on a channel, it pops up "An error occurred." Below is the log from my Mac OS:

I just installed it upon receiving your advice. It works pretty well. Thanks.
Any idea to get Open TV to work as well?

Note that Open-TV will correctly locate mpv if it was installed through a package manager, but does not work if you installed only the GUI version of mpv from a DMG (for example):
