There is per-channel EPG support on Xtream.

EPG per channel is a great step. Would be great to have EGP for Favorites all on one scrollable screen.

I agree, there should be a grid for favorites. I wouldn't want anything more in the app though. I am currently putting all my hours on Open TV mobile so it might come after

I have been looking for a portable IPTV client for a while and this is a really good start.

However, for any client to pass the WAF (wife acceptance factor) a really easy to use EPG is mandatory for any IPTV client.

I would like to add my support to this request and suggest that the grid approach taken in Tivimate is the gold standard that should be referenced (if not copied directly).

I don't use tivimate, could we document it through this issue with screenshots and videos so we have a reference? Thank you

Thanks for your quick response. I'll try to explain the flow and function through a series of pictures and descriptions for each.

  1. Tivimate uses the channel groups as its top level for the EPG UI in a grid form with the currently playing channel available in a window. When watching a channel, the BACK button is used to bring up the EPG and the initial view will show the grid below which is the group of channels that the watched channel is in with the watched channel centered vertically in the scrollable grid. Image

  2. To get to the list of groups, the user hits the BACK button once more and the view below shows up. Notice the groups on the left of the channels in the grid. The groups are located within a top level folder for each IPTV provider in case more than one is setup. Image

  3. With a group selected (in the list of groups), a menu can be shown by pressing the menu button (right-click) that allows customization of that group's channels (hide / sort / etc.) Image

  4. With a channel selected (in the list of channels) a menu can be shown by pressing the menu button (right-click) that allows operations on that channel (show full program description, add/remove to/from favorites, record, block) Image

NOTE: Tivimate is optimized to work with a Android TV remote which is why I referred to the BACK and MENU buttons. These could easily be mouse clicks on other platforms like Windows.

This quite resembles Kodi PVR EPG.

The screenshots I could find are outdated but you get an idea.

Easier to install and look yourself with Demo PVR addon: https://flathub.org/apps/tv.kodi.Kodi

I'm in the same boat here. Best IPTV software I've used yet. Very fast, been adding all types of streams. Ability to add url for custom EPG would be the topper.

This is the only thing missing from the app
