I can't use mods

I went through the installation, Extracted and imported the mods. And it keeps giving me an error message Or am I just stupid

You probably unzipped the pack wrong. Delete the folders in the mods folder and drag the .zips on to import instead

You probably unzipped to the wrong place / out of the correct folder, do the steps I said above and the launcher will handle it all.

That will make no difference, please send a video of you removing everything in the mods folder and dragging the mods onto the launcher

Keep in mind too that this is an inactive project, so support is limited if this is a launcher issue

Btw where did you hear about this? It's long dead, and there's been a random influx of people recently

Could you try the dragging the zips onto the launcher method pls, it will handle it automatically
