[OneSync Infinity] Hearing people that u shouldn't
We're experiencing alot of "I can hear people that i shouldn't be able to".
It mainly sounds from our reports, like it's people in a < 300 range, that can be heard for players, where they shouldn't. By the guess of things i could imagine it's because their in the range where the player can actually see their location (Infinity). Sometimes people report that they can hear someone global aswell tho.
This is the main problem we're experiencing with Mumble. We do have a few small onces aswell, but if this could be fixed - then we would be so happy, because it's causing our players alot of distress and we keep hearing "Go back to Toko".
So if it's at all possible, please look into this, and beat Tokos ass ;)
I'll try to get as much info on the subject as i can, but for now my info is:
- People hear people, that they shouldn't be able to.
- It happens in various moments, and even tho 2 people has been going around together, one of them could experience the problem while the other one doesn't.
- Often it sounds on our reports like "Their not far-far away, but too far away"
- Happens for some people only, i - myself have not experienced it yet.
- Some people saying that switching headset worked for them, with the new one they can hear people they should, but none they shouldn't. This sounds wierd for me, so i'll check abit more into it, as i don't belive that to be anything to do with the system, but i'm just leaving it here, until i'm sure it couldn't have anything to do with mumble.
We're running non-external server (Standard), currently, because i'm trying to fiqure out how to make an external server on windows. Dunno if this could be a reason.
Can confirm this issue is on-going.
This issue started some time ago, due to FiveM commits. Then it got resolved, also by FiveM changes, and now it's back again.

I recommend using TokoVOIP until this issue is solved. This issue caused alot of pain for our users, and with tokovoip it all runs smooth. Both with normal OneSync & OneSync Infinity.
Yeah, this is definitely resource related.
Hate to be the person to be 'oh look at my stuff' but I'm going to go ahead and release some of the stuff I've done for my server to the community so people can get mumble-voip working

This is definitely going on. You start to hear other people taling on diferent frequencies then the one you are and even when you are not in any frequency you can hear other people in their frequencies...
Any ETA on a fix?
@GrizzlyRP try #99 and see if it fixes your problem.

Didn't seem to fix the issue. Still have a few people with the issue. Any other ideas?

Same with me. This seems related to some fivem update.
did someone find a fix? I have same issue with artifacts Same issue also with 3364
Use https://github.com/AvarianKnight/pma-voice instead! It's insipred by mumble-voip but doesn't have this issue.
Would find it best not to advertise my repo in someone elses repo. If Frazzle wants to redirect people he can, kinda rude otherwise.
@ElPumpo Avarian's repo does the same thing for several people on my server, was no different. We figured out the issue, its with use3daudio... we turned off use3daudio and it works fine for everyone.

Usually an issue with the client in that case, it also makes sense since voice_use3dAudio
is considered deprecated for voice_useNativeAudio
.
For a list of debugs for the client to do in cases where they have issues with hearing everyone:
Has nothing to do with advertizing anything, I just want to save peoples time on a big issue many are having.
