Monster Hunter Rise
Monster Hunter Rise is not compatible. both with original or renamed file
I created multiple file translations for the different types of save data. I was able to successfully transfer the files without error. However the game would freeze on the loading screen
Same problem here, When I try to convert the files it shows an error message: "An error ocurred updating file SS1_SaveData001Slot Relative file path translation to Xbox file ID not found.
Since the provided screenshot may include renamed files could anyone provide the original file name structure using the File > Copy Save File Table(s) option?
The output for "Copy Save File Table(s)" is below.
EDIT: Removed my error report because I stupidly had not set up the requisite translations. Files copy fine for me now, though the game hangs on the "Loading" screen ahead of the main menu.

Are there any new Updates for MHR? I do as well have the same Error as most people probly but i'll wait till it works before swapping to Steam!
EDIT: Well it seems it will not be possible to convert Monster Hunter Files over to Steam, what a bummer!
@Extant987 What file translations did you use? If you've done it correctly then you may have discovered that this is sadly a game that cannot work with the converter.
Tried it out and while it succeeded copying the files, the game just acts like the save was corrupted and asks me to make another save data. Then again, I wasn't really sure what I was doing. There goes my 126H save I guess.
Edit: Seems like saves are tied to the steamid and whatever the gamepass equivalent so unless a save editor pops up, moving saves using this probably won't work.
@Fr33dan I ended up doing them all one by one because there were 3 different patterns and not enough files to justify using the RegEx groups to automate numbering. I have tried this from scratch again and still get a perpetual loading screen after the developer titles, right before the main title screen should show. I suspect one potential reason is that the Xbox (PC) version is way behind the Steam version (10.0.3.0 compared to 13.0.0.1, respectively) and the saves are simply incompatible.
That being said, here are the translations I used to successfully copy/overwrite files from Steam to Xbox (PC).
Non-Xbox file: data00-1.bin Xbox Blob ID: SaveData00-1 Container Name 1: SaveData00-1 Container Name 2: <blank>
Non-Xbox file: data001Slot.bin Xbox Blob ID: SaveData001Slot Container Name 1: SaveData001Slot Container Name 2: <blank>
Non-Xbox file: SS1_data001Slot.bin Xbox Blob ID: SS1_SaveData001Slot Container Name 1: SS1_SaveData001Slot Container Name 2: <blank>
Non-Xbox file: SS4_data001Slot.bin Xbox Blob ID: SS4_SaveData001Slot Container Name 1: SS4_SaveData001Slot Container Name 2: <blank>
game pass version is now 13.0.0.0 in preperation for sunbreak release, i wonder if its possible now
How is it now? I really want this
Tried it out with the current version but the game hangs forever while loading the save in game
So we can't transfer mhrise save game from xbox gamepass to steam?
Now that both xbox and steam have the same versions, has anyone had any success?
