Hi, I noticed this too and learned how to remove worldgen features via datapack to do just that. This works by replacing the contents of the configured feature json file with no_op which just does nothing when the mod calls for the salt pools to generate. Enjoy!

If you want this datapack to load automatically when you generate a new world, I would recommend Paxi by Yung. You just drop datapacks into the folder Paxi generates for you in your instance's config folder.
