Modded chests look like regular chests in the inventory

I noticed this whilst fixing compatibility between EBE and the way my mod renders mimic chests. When enhanced chests is turned on, chests from other mods look like regular chests:

Additionally pressing "Dump Example Resources" to maybe see if there's something I can do to fix it simply crashes the game.
