Decorated pots randomly change their pottery sherd when interacted with

While making a RP I found that some decorated pots (not all) have the ability to change other nearby pot's applied pottery sherd to a random one when right clicking it, changing the light level around pots also triggers the bug, like placing a torch, it's a visual bug and fixes itself when reloading the resource pack or re joining the world.

Doesn't happen if the enhanced decorated pots option is turned off, also tested on a clean instance.
